The Privacy and Personal Information Act 1998, Section 6C, regulates the way in which personal information is handled by private sector organisations such as TORO Waste Equipment (Aust). The definition of “personal information” is construed widely in that Act and covers any information that may be used to identify a person. TORO Waste Equipment (Aust) respects the privacy of individuals and has systems in place to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. TORO Waste Equipment (Aust)specializes in the manufacture of Industrial Steel Bins. As such, most of the personal information we obtain is collected directly from clients for the purpose of providing bins to those clients.
